Customer & Network Services - Mains Technician
Customer & Network Services (C&NS) Directorate work streams will be responsible for the safe delivery of all gas production, distribution and customer facing operational processes and activities. The Director is supported by C&NS Managers and C&NS Officers in each island who will be responsible for the safe, quality, on–time and efficient delivery of all asset and customer generated operational work to agreed standards of service and service level agreements. The C&NS Manager will be required to operate over all work streams:-Distribution, Plant, LPG Operations and Service. They will be supported by Technical Engineers and Operatives along with Administrators providing Work Scheduling, Reporting and Performance information.
The key business issues of the Directorate that will be focussed around Safety, Quality, On-Time & Efficiency are:
- Safety: Health, Safety and Environmental Operational Performance which impacts directly on all employees, contracted staff, customers and others affected by our work in carrying out the day to day work and 24/7 standby function.
- Quality: Development and compliance with all operational policies procedures and codes of practice that support the delivery of agreed levels of work quality.
- On-Time: Provision of a safe, reliable and continuous gas supply system that provides security of supply to all customers 24hrs, 365 days.
- Efficiency: Delivery of all Asset, Customer and Emergency operational processes and activities in an efficient manner demonstrating that suitable processes are in place to ensure added value through the activities being carried out and delivering the levels of performance and productivity necessary to support the success of the business.
