10 year boiler plan.

What is the 10 year boiler plan?

The 10 year boiler plan offers customers an affordable way of renewing home heating systems and providing a brand new ultra efficient gas boiler. The cost over the 10 years is £3,000 or £25 p/m which provides worry free heating to include:

  • Free gas connection to property (mains or bottled)
  •  A new Vaillant energy efficient condensing boiler 
  •  10 year warranty
  • 10 year leasing plan from £25 per month 
  • 10 year free service care
  •  Free removal of oil boiler and oil tank (if applicable)
  • 24/7 Assistance
  • Free vSMART thermostat wireless controller and smart phone app (based on your survey)

What happens If I take out the Boiler Plan and then want to sell the property before the end of the 10 Year period?

If you want to sell the property before the end of the 10 Year period, you can pay the remainder of the outstanding balance less a 10% Discount.

Alternatively, the scheme can be transferred to the new owner of the property if both parties agree (and subject to the normal credit checks).

What happens at the end of the 10 Year Period?

When the 10 Year period has finished the Boiler belongs to you.

What if the Boiler is beyond repair before the 10 Year period ends?

In the unlikely event that the Boiler is beyond repair it would be replaced Free of Charge during the Ten Year Period.

If we need assistance out of hours, will there be a charge?

No, all callouts are included and we will respond within 24hours.

What happens to the existing Service Care Contract I have with Guernsey Gas for my old boiler?

We will cancel your existing contract and you can cancel your payment with the Bank.

Will I have to pay for an Annual Service on my Boiler every year?

The annual service is included in the scheme and we will contact you when it’s due.

Will my monthly payment increase during the 10 Year period?

No, your monthly payment will stay the same throughout the 10 year boiler plan.
